Tawny port is an art of blending. We work with time, wood, and experience to find a balance between the concentration of age and the freshness of youth.
This tawny port has been aged in seasoned oak casks for an average of 30 years, maturing gently to reach a delicate intensity. Seductive and enveloping, it combines notes of toffee and cedar wood with floral and menthol undertones.
Bright, amber/copper colour. On the nose, a complex and seductive combination of aromas of cigar box, toffee and cedar wood with hints of fresh, black fruits. Elegant and enveloping on the palate, combining freshness with ageing, showing notes of dried fruits and orange peel along with floral and menthol undertones, ending in a long velvety finish.
