Fortify a Friend

“Fortify a Friend” is all about promoting connection between friends during the Covid-19 crisis. Throughout May, consumers who buy a premium case of port from Churchill’s online shop or mixed case of Churchill’s port from the Bar Douro Bottle Shop can send a complimentary bottle of port to a nominated friend.

Churchill’s and Bar Douro will donate 10% of proceeds from the sale to Mind charity in the UK and CASA in Porto, providing outreach and vital support to vulnerable groups. These contributions will be put directly to use at this moment, to fund emergency mental health calls in the UK and providing meals and mental health support to the homeless in Porto.

Churchill’s has partnered with Bar Douro in London, to help launch the campaign in the UK through the newly launched Bar Douro Bottle Shop. This promotion is valid for countries that Churchill’s ships to within Europe. Please see here where do we ship.

ABOUT BAR DOURO

Bringing the terra of Portugal to the arches of London Bridge, Bar Douro opened in November 2016 at Flat Iron Square. Founder, Max Graham, spent his childhood in Porto where his family business Churchill’s is based. Max’s family have been producing wine in the Douro Valley for over two centuries.
