We are thrilled to announce that our founder, Johnny Graham, received the prestigious award for Fortified Winemaker of the Year from Grandes Escolhas magazine in Portugal.
At the Grandes Escolhas Awards Gala last Friday, Johnny received the award of “Fortified Wines - Winemaker of the Year 2022”.
The influential wine writer João Paulo Martins announced the award saying that “all Churchill’s ports that were tasted last year displayed the highest quality, notably the Vintage ports and Aged Tawnies with a new 40 Year Old Tawny in the portfolio”.
We are honoured by this award, which is a celebration of excellence and of Johnny’s career dedicated to the art of port wine making.
